a Social Worker specialised in International Cooperation and Migration and a registered Therapeutic Play Specialist with the Association for Play Therapy Italy (APTI)
I hold a Master of Arts in International and Development Studies from The Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Expressive Arts Therapy. I am pursuing doctoral studies in Expressive Arts Therapy at The European Graduate School (EGS).
I am an International Speaker skilled in seven languages, University teacher in Switzerland and Italy, Head of Project Management and trainer at the International Academy for Play Therapy (INA) with over 10 years of worldwide experience in crisis contexts.

I have a significant experience as Humanitarian Worker and I have been Head of Social Services for the Swiss Red Cross asylum seekers and refugees sector. I have published books and several articles on play and Therapeutic Play.

Hi! I’m Maggie Fearn,
an Integrative Child Psychotherapist ECIP and a Play Therapist with the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT)
I am Senior Lecturer MSc Play Therapy at University of South Wales (until April 2022) and Assistant Director of Academic Affairs at the Children’s Therapy Centre, Ireland. I also work for The Windfall Centre in Wales as a play and filial therapist and clinical supervisor.
Since 2010, I published peer reviewed papers on play as a resource in adversity, the impact of misattunement in early infancy on proneness to core shame, and have co-authored chapters focusing on movement and touch in creative psychotherapy and the developmental importance of sensory play in Play Therapy.
I have also published chapters on Nature-based Play Therapy and Therapeutic Play in nature with nurture groups and I train practitioners in Nature-based Play Therapy.

a Clinical Psychologist, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™ with the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and Dance Mouvement Therapist
I am currently consulting in schools and I am an adjunct faculty member in the Clinical Psychology department at the University of Guam. I have been an active contributor in the integration of creative modalities in Play Therapy.
I helped pioneer the field of Family Play Therapy and have written extensively in the area for the last twenty five years. I am now leading an international project using Creative Arts Therapies to develop collaborative creative metaphor making to develop communication and resilience between countries online.

I specialise in Emergency Interventions and Trauma with twenty years of international field experience in Disaster Mental Health. I presented and trained in Play Therapy related topics professionals in six Continents and over twenty Countries.

I am Director of the University Master's degree in Play Therapy and training program of the International Academy for Play Therapy (INA) in Switzerland, and Founder of the Association for Play Therapy Italy.
In 2015, I was awarded from the Family Enhancement & Play Therapy Center, Inc. (Boiling Springs, PA) for “Outstanding contributions to the practice and teaching of Filial Therapy”. I published books, chapters and several articles on Play Therapy and crisis interventions.

Hi! I’m Judi Parson,
a qualified paediatric Registered Nurse, and a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor with the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA)
I am the Discipline Lead, Course Director and Senior Lecturer in Play Therapy at Deakin University, Australia. I am a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor with the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA) and the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT). I am a founding board member and past Chair of APPTA and I continue as an active board member.

The focus of my doctoral research is based on the establishment of evidence to understand how to best serve at risk populations, such as children who are vulnerable due to play deficits, ethnicity, health status and/or socioeconomic situation. I have a special interest in working with children who have experienced medical trauma and life limiting illnesses. I have authored over 15 international peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

I hold a Grad. Cert. HELT, Grad. Dip. Art Therapy, Grad. Dip. Play Therapy, and a PhD. I hold as well registrations with BAPT (Registered Play Therapist), APPTA (RPT/S), and APT (International Professional).
I completed doctoral studies investigating the 'Development and Efficacy of the Teacher’s Optimal Relationship Approach (TORA)', which integrates Play and Filial Therapy principles into the education setting. In my private practice, I work therapeutically with children, families and teachers and offer Play Therapy Clinical Supervision. I have been a member of the Board of Directors for APPTA since 2013.

I have over 130 publications, including national and international peer reviewed journal papers, editor pieces, book chapters and books. I also bring over forty years of working with children and families in community settings.
